Team overview and job responsibilities

We are looking for an Installation Coordinator to join our Installations team, Based in Mexico City-México , the candidate will be responsible for Responsible for the activities related to the coordination of the installation of high voltage systems, coordinate studies, analysis, planning, development and implementation of assembly projects and installations of electrical cables, subway, non-energized, organizing, guiding and making feasible the realization of works, as well as monitoring the services performed by the installation team, analysis and generation of installation costs in coordination with regional procedures, support with technical specifications for necessary services in full compliance with compliance procedures, in accordance with current legislation, norms and quality standards, following the fulfillment of economic, quality and safety indicators.

Job responsibilities

1. Coordinate the planning, development, administration and control activities of electrical cable assembly and installation projects, underground cables, non-energized, including the organization and guidance of the professionals involved, own or third parties, in terms of technical and technological specifications and quality standards, in order to ensure compliance with schedules and deadlines.

2. Prepare scope and cost information for the preparation of commercial proposals, providing project specific data, such as technical data, scope, schedules, histograms, assembly instructions, among others, to meet the required conditions, establishing contacts with internal interfaces and participating in negotiations with the final customer.

3. Control the installation documentation of the projects, keeping properly organized and available the technical and financial information of the work.

4. Ensure compliance with the installation programs according to safety and quality standards, controlling and reporting on a monthly basis on the applicable technical-economic indicators.

5. Establish communication with the client for project follow-up, ensuring anticipation of needs, in order to meet established objectives and customer satisfaction, mitigating risks and avoiding penalties and other impacts for Prysmian.

6. Maintain a close relationship with the Systems Engineering areas, with the objective of ensuring the correct understanding and execution of projects.

7. Establish the needs of technical and operational resources to meet the services to be executed in the works, supplying equipment, parts and relevant materials, with the objective of supplying the work fronts, according to the contractual clauses.

8. Plan the execution of the works, defining teams of assemblers; provide infrastructure resources for the works such as equipment, transportation, lodging and meals, as well as legal documentation for entry into the Client's sites and control of hours worked, among others.

9. Supervise and control the execution of projects, checking schedules, costs and deadlines, and assisting project managers.

10. Adjust plans with clients and their suppliers; manage complementary services; and follow up and certify services performed by third parties.

11. Perform operational management of PRYSMIAN technicians and contractors, coordinating with regional management training and development programs.

12. Prepare the Technical Supply Specifications for contracting by the Purchasing area and participate in the technical validation of suppliers.

13. Monitor, correct and report any deviations inherent in the progress of the work.

14. Responsible for the conservation and maintenance of equipment and materials used in the works, as well as the minimum stock of materials required for emergency services.

15. Ensure compliance with conservation, cleaning and hygiene procedures for the work area, machinery and equipment, as well as guide third parties in compliance with safety, discipline, accident prevention, environmental and quality standards.

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree: Electrical Engineer, or Related Career
  • Management Energy projects
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in coordinator of energy projects;
  • Language: Advanced English (Required), Portuguese is a plus.
  • Competences: Have a focus on results, organized, with good communication skills, negotiation agility and problem solving.
